After the Broncos defense stopped Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense, forcing them to punt, Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday showed that Peyton Manning doesn't necessarily need to be on the field for Denver to put points on the board. Holliday returned the punt for 89 yards for the game's first touchdown, breaking the record for the longest punt return in NFL playoff history.

Broncos wide receiver Trindon Holliday returned the game’s first punt and scored the game’s first touchdown, showing the Ravens Peyton Manning doesn’t need to be on the field for the Broncos to score.


The Broncos now lead by a score of 7-0 even though the Denver offense has yet to step foot on the field. Before the Sam Koch's punt, the Ravens moved the ball 18 yards on five plays before being stopped on a third-and-short when linebacker Von Miller stopped Ravens running back Ray Rice for no gain.
