Buffalo Bills quarterbacks E.J. Manuel (knee) and Thaddeus Lewis (foot) are both injured to the point that the team has signed former Raider Matt Flynn to a contract. Manuel is still probably a month away from returning. Lewis on the other hand is expected to play through his injury and be ready for the team's Week 7 game against the Miami Dolphins, according to a report by ESPN's Mike Rodak.
E.J. Manuel and Thaddeus Lewis, hobbling fantasy quarterbacks
The Bills’ quarterbacks are both hobbled with injuries, leading the team to sign former Raider Matt Flynn. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Nobody can knock Lewis for his effort against the Cincinnati Bengals. The young quarterback was making his first career start as a member of the Buffalo Bills and managed to take a more talented Bengals team to overtime. Though the loss stings a bit for Bills fans because they were ahead late in the game, Lewis did mange to overcome a 14-point deficit and throw two touchdowns in the fourth quarter showing incredible poise.
In general the best option for the Bills at quarterback is definitely Manuel and neither Lewis nor Flynn is really going to threaten for long-term playing time as Manuel is the team’s prized 2013 draft pick.
If you are a fantasy owner using any Bills quarterback as your starter it was most likely in a deeper league or bye week scenario. Rather than wait to see how things will shake out in Buffalo, owners should look elsewhere if they can, and hold onto Lewis for this week if their other options are slim.
