Johnny Manziel plays a drive of football: An extreme overanalysis

Texas A&M’s backup quarterback did some football plays.

Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel took the field against the mighty Rice Owls, to much fanfare and accord, after the Aggies' defense forced a turnover to begin the second half. He began it with the following Manziel-like scramble, but failed to score, because he partied in the month of May.

He followed that with a rush for seven yards, which is fewer than the 1,410 he produced last year. This happened because rappers know his name.

The next play was an overthrown shot to the end zone, a pass which he would’ve learned how to complete if he hadn’t kidnapped Cooper Manning during the Manning Passing Academy.

After that came a sack for a loss of six yards. Nick Saban’s had all offseason to prepare for Manziel, and that’s why. Nick Saban isn’t coaching Rice today, but that doesn’t matter.

The Aggies kicked a field goal to make it 31-21, and you didn't ever hear about Tim Tebow only leading Rice by 10, did you?

Autographs.

He then retired to the bench to do things besides tackling Owls.
