Maurice Jones-Drew injury update: Jaguars ineptitude hinders MJD’s fantasy value
Maurice Jones-Drew’s ankle isn’t the problem for his lackluster season. We break down the fantasy implications.

MJD hasn’t done much this year. He has an ugly 2.6 yards per carry and only 115 rushing yards on the season. The good news is that he has one score and he doesn’t seem to be bothered by the major foot injury suffered from last year.
The Jaguars simply can’t move the ball. Their passing game is the worst in the NFL and teams are allowed to key in on MJD, putting eight in the box and keeping tabs on him at all times.
Fantasy impact: MJD is a safe play most of the time since he’s a featured back, which is a bit of a dying breed these days. Owners can start him this week as an RB2 and he’ll have a good chance to hit paydirt.
