According to ESPN'S Adam Schefter, the Broncos will reclaim $1.25 million in bonus money that the team gave to Miller prior to this season. The report by Schefter explains that the team will withhold the cash from Miller's paychecks.

The Broncos’ are punishing linebacker Von Miller for his NFL suspension.

Miller was suspended for six games on Aug. 20 for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Miller had previously tested positive for marijuana during his 2011 rookie season. According to multiple reports, the NFL considered suspending the Pro Bowler for an entire season before agreeing on the six-game punishment. The Texas A&M alum was able to participate in team activities until the end of the preseason.
Miller has been the Broncos' top pass rusher over the last two seasons. The third-year player has had 30 total sacks since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2011. He will be reinstated in time for Denver's Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football.
