Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (ankle) says he's fully healed and ready to start for the team in their Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions, according to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Bridgewater hurt his ankle in his NFL debut as a starter against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4.
Teddy Bridgewater is healthy, back to fantasy starter status
The Vikes’ rookie quarterback says he’s ready to go for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Vikings played a Thursday night game against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5 and that short turnaround was the main reason Bridgewater sat in favor of Christian Ponder. Ponder has been given a chance to be the Vikings' main man multiple times throughout his career and done little with his opportunities.
With Adrian Peterson (commissioner’s exemption list) appearing unlikely to return at all this season, coach Mike Zimmer has been forced to go with a lot of good, young talent in many facets of the offense, which makes this year more of a learning experience than anything else.
That means Bridgewater will not only start in Week 6, he’ll likely be the go-to guy for the rest of the season in Minnesota. Fantasy owners should definitely keep an eye on him, but perhaps avoid using him against a good Lions defense this week.
