In a week full of teams with byes, we still had a handful of injuries this week. The biggest injury was to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who suffered a broken collarbone that could cost him anywhere from six weeks to the rest of the season. This could affect the entire offense, but receiver Jeremy Maclin was outstanding on Sunday and tight end Zach Ertz should be fine, too.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 10: Injuries and potential replacements
Arian Foster is hurt and Nick Foles is going to miss significant time. Who should fantasy owners look to grab?

Arian Foster, Lamar Miller and Ronnie Hillman are all dealing with assorted bumps and bruises. Foster could be the most serious, as he is dealing with a groin injury. Foster has been playing great football, but once again, he struggles to remain healthy. You hopefully have a solid replacement option to cover for the times Foster is sidelined.
Here are all the injuries you’ll want to think about before you make your waiver-wire claim. The new ones are on top and the older ones are below:
Play Fanduel, Win big money
Quarterback
Who: Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles
What: Could miss the rest of the season
Impact: Mark Sanchez will be at the helm and is worth a look in standard leagues. He looked good in the preseason and put up numbers against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Running back
Who: Arian Foster, Houston Texans
What: He is dealing with a groin issue and could miss time
Impact: He can't stay healthy, and it'll be Alfred Blue should Foster miss time. Blue is worth a look in all leagues.
Who: Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins
What: He has an AC joint sprain and is day-to-day
Impact: He could be fine, or he could be out. There really isn't a great pickup to make with Damien Williams or Daniel Thomas.
Who: Ronnie Hillman, Denver Broncos
What: A minor ankle tweak in Week 9
Impact: He's all good.
Wide receiver
Who: Wes Welker, Denver Broncos
What: Left Sunday's game after a hard hit
Impact: He's just too fragile to count on in most fantasy leagues.
Older injuries
Quarterback
Who: Matt Cassel, Minnesota Vikings
What: Out indefinitely with a broken foot
Impact: Teddy Bridgewater has really only played three good halves in six games, so it's pretty clear the fantasy value won't be there.
Who: Josh McCown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
What: Could miss several weeks with sprained thumb
Impact: Mike Glennon hasn't made much noise in the starting lineup, but he had some success against the Browns with receiver Mike Evans.
Who: Jake Locker, Tennessee Titans
What: Injured right thumb
Impact: Zach Mettenberger will start the rest of the way and he does throw the deep ball, which is interesting for his upside.
Running back
Who: Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals
What: Missed Week 9 and could miss Week 10
Impact: Jeremy Hill should be owned in all leagues after a massive Week 9.
Who: Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
What: A sprained ankle kept him from playing on Sunday
Impact: Bobby Rainey looked great, but Charles Sims could be a factor. Of course, Rainey should be owned everywhere.
Who: Stepfan Taylor, Arizona Cardinals
What: Did not play on Sunday
Impact: Andre Ellington looks great.
Who: C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, Buffalo Bills
What: Spiller broke his collarbone and is expected to be out for the season; Jackson has a groin strain and could miss two more weeks
Impact: Anthony Dixon saw 22 carries in Week 8, while Bryce Brown saw seven. Expect a closer split in Week 10.
Who: Pierre Thomas, New Orleans Saints
What: Suffered a shoulder injury in Week 7 and has been out since
Impact: It's Mark Ingram's world.
Who: Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots
What: Out for season with knee injury
Impact: Shane Vereen is playing well, but this team will be pass-happy.
Who: Rashad Jennings, New York Giants
What: Suffered a knee sprain and has been out since Week 5
Impact: Andre Williams should be in the lineup for the next week at the minimum.
Who: Montee Ball, Denver Broncos
What: Expected to miss multiple weeks with a groin issue and has lost his job
Impact: Ronnie Hillman is in the running for pickup of the year.
Who: Danny Woodhead and Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers
What: Woodhead is out for the season with a broken fibula; Mathews is still not practicing but could return soon
Impact: Branden Oliver is a must-start back despite the Chargers looking awful in Week 9.
Wide receivers
Who: Brian Quick, St. Louis Rams
What: A shoulder injury will keep him out for the rest of the season
Impact: He was the best receiving option, so now the team will have to turn to Kenny Britt and Stedman Bailey. Jared Cook also gets a bump.
Who: Nate Washington, Tennessee Titans
What: Sprained AC joint in his shoulder should cost him some time
Impact: Justin Hunter is coming on and this is another reason to like him. He's coming off a bye.
Who: Robert Woods, Buffalo Bills
What: Suffered a back injury after playing well
Impact: With a bye in Week 9, he could be back in Week 10.
Who: Victor Cruz, New York Giants
What: Out for season with knee injury
Impact: As expected, Larry Donnell, Odell Beckham and Rueben Randle saw upticks in value. They're all must-own, with Randle as the most valuable.
Who: Rod Streater, Oakland Raiders
What: Out indefinitely with fractured foot
Impact: Andre Holmes and James Jones have been disappointing.
Who: Harry Douglas, Atlanta Falcons
What: Out with a foot issue
Impact: He won't have much value while the rest of the Falcon receivers are healthy.
Tight end
Who: Jordan Cameron, Cleveland Browns
What: A concussion kept him out against the Bucs in Week 9
Impact: He's not a must-own player anymore.
Who: Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
What: Likely out one more week with groin injury
Impact: He is worth a look if you're desperate.
Who: Tyler Eifert, Cincinnati Bengals
What: Not expected to return until Week 11 with elbow injury
Impact: Jermaine Gresham hasn't lived up to the first-round billing
