Fantasy football waiver wire: 5 wide receivers to target for Week 10

It’s another super bye week with players like DeSean Jackson, T.Y. Hilton and DeAndre Hopkins getting the week off. Here are some waiver wire receivers who could cover you.

If you thought last week's super bye week was tough, we've got another six teams not playing in Week 10. The Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, Houston Texans and Washington are all getting the week off. That means fantasy WR options like DeSean Jackson, Julian Edelman, Keenan Allen, T.Y. Hilton, Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins are all unavailable.

The week isn’t totally lost if you own any of those players, though. Here are five players owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues who could help you out in Week 10.

Martavis Bryant, Pittsburgh Steelers (42 percent) -- Bryant will likely be the most in-demand waiver receiver this week, and for good reason. He had another fine performance in Week 9, recording two touchdowns on 44 yards and three catches. Bryant now has an absurd five touchdowns on 10 receptions in the last three weeks after spending the first six weeks inactive. Those numbers will no doubt regress, but Bryant continues to close in on Markus Wheaton, playing 34 snaps to Wheaton's 39. With Ben Roethlisberger playing lights-out football, Bryant has WR3 value against the New York Jets' crumbling secondary next week.

Jordan Matthews, Philadelphia Eagles (18 percent) -- Matthews continues to put up quietly efficient numbers, although we're still waiting for a major breakout game from him. He scored his first touchdown since Week 3 on Sunday, hauling in an 11-yard pass that helped ice the win over the Houston Texans. Matthews' role is still unclear with Mark Sanchez taking over for Nick Foles, but he remains someone who could get a bigger role if Riley Cooper continues his ineffectiveness.

Stevie Johnson, San Francisco 49ers (12 percent) -- With Michael Crabtree struggling with drops, Johnson has emerged as San Francisco's second-most reliable receiver behind Anquan Boldin. In the past three games, Johnson has 13 catches for 173 yards and a touchdown. Not top-flight numbers, but Johnson has shown enough to merit WR4 consideration going forward. He has a friendly matchup with the New Orleans Saints defense in the Superdome.

Waiver Wire Rankings: QB RB WR TE

Kenny Britt, St. Louis Rams (9 percent) -- Britt is the Rams' de facto No. 1 receiver now with Brian Quick done for the season. There aren't many Rams players worth starting in fantasy, but Britt did end up with their lone touchdown in the team's stunning Week 9 win over the 49ers. Whatever potential Britt showed with the Tennessee Titans is long gone, but he's a decent streaming option if the matchup is right.

Jarvis Landry, Miami Dolphins (8 percent) -- The Dolphins rookie had one of the more impressive plays of Week 9. Landry took a swing pass and bullied past a couple Chargers defenders, tiptoeing on the sidelines and squeezing the ball past the pylon for a 14-yard touchdown. Landry finished the day with five catches for 46 yards and the score. He led all Dolphins receivers with 55 snaps, though it's worth noting that Miami pulled its starters early in the blowout victory. Either way, Landry's role in the offense keeps growing and his arrow is pointing up for a big finish to the fantasy season.

Honorable mentions: Justin Hunter (44 percent), Allen Robinson (42 percent), Allen Hurns (14 percent), Davante Adams (13 percent), Kenny Stills (13 percent)
