Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy made it only 10 unspectacular carries into his game Sunday. The star back was forced from the Bills' 35-25 loss to Washington in the third quarter after a hard hit resulted in a knee injury.
LeSean McCoy leaves with knee injury, fantasy owners need to monitor situation
The running back was replaced by a committee Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

McCoy had 10 carries Sunday for 29 yards, adding one catch for 8 yards before his injury, which was described after the game as a minor MCL sprain. In his absence, Mike Gillislee and Karlos Williams each got four carries, with Anthony Dixon getting one. Gillislee had 81 yards and a touchdown, Williams had 41 yards and Dixon had five.
Fantasy impact: The early reports on McCoy's injury are optimistic enough that there's still at least a chance he could play in Week 16, when the Bills play the Cowboys. At 6-8, the Bills are well and truly eliminated from playoff consideration, though, so if there's any question about McCoy's health, they might hold him out from one or both of the games they have left. Pay attention to reports Monday and Tuesday.
If McCoy misses time, Gillislee and Williams will likely for a committee. Williams had some success early in the season during the time McCoy was injured, while Gillislee was only promoted from the practice squad earlier this month. Williams is the better add of the two if McCoy misses time, but there isn’t likely to be much clarity from the position group either way.
