Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson exited Sunday's game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Broncos beat writer Troy Renck reported that Anderson didn't believe his injury to be very serious.
C.J. Anderson dealing with ankle injury, Juwan Thompson becomes deep waiver grab
Juwan Thompson may be the No. 2 RB in Denver if C.J. Anderson misses time. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Ronnie Hillman is expected to see an increased workload if Anderson misses time. Running back Juwan Thompson will likely share time with Hillman in the backfield. Thompson carried the ball eight times for 27 yards as the team's No. 2 RB on Sunday. He also caught one pass for 14 yards.
Fantasy impact: Hillman will undoubtedly be the team’s starter if Anderson can’t suit up for Week 14. However, fantasy owners in deeper leagues should consider picking up Thompson. As unpredictable as Denver’s backfield can be, Thompson has just as good a chance as any running back when it comes to giving the Broncos’ run game a spark. With fantasy playoffs on the horizon, players like Thompson should be owned especially by Hillman and Anderson owners. We’ll know more about Anderson’s status later in the week.
