NFL player says Aaron Hernandez threatened to kill him after big hit

He might have been serious?

Former Tennessee Titan Ryan Mouton posted a picture of himself standing over a helmetless, angry Aaron Hernandez to Instagram Thursday:

He wrote:

#TBT that time I popped a killer helmet off and told him he can see me whenever, he replied I’ll kill u and little did I knowAt the time, it seemed like Hernandez was just jawing at his opponent after a big play, maybe metaphorically threatening to destroy him on the field. But of course, we later found out that Hernandez is an actual murderer and guilty of the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. Luckily, Hernandez never acted on his threat to Mouton, who most recently was on the practice squad of the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL.
