If you saw Monday Night Football in Santa Clara, you saw San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde demolish the Minnesota Vikings defense. He put up a whopping 168 rushing yards to go with 14 receiving yards.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 2: Ameer Abdullah
Ameer Abdullah had one of the best carries of Week 1 and could have more work going his way. Should fantasy owners start him this week?

Luckily for the Vikings they get to move on from that, but now they’ll take on the Detroit Lions. The Lions certainly didn’t have much success on the ground last week against the San Diego Chargers, totaling 69 rushing yards on 16 carries. Rookie running back Ameer Abdullah had a seven-carry, 50-yard day in the 33-28 loss on the road.
Perhaps nothing can sum up just how good Abdullah could be like his 24-yard run. In case you missed it from the end zone angle, check this out:
Wow. Based on how bad Joique Bell looked with just 14 yards on six carries, you’d think Abdullah would get more snaps. In Week 1, Abdullah already out-snapped Bell 21-17, which probably wasn’t the plan heading into the game.
Fantasy impact: Abdullah looks like he’s ready for a big game. He still carries some risk because the Lions are a passing team, but considering how they should be able to score, this makes him a solid RB2.
