Fantasy football rankings 2015: Defense/special teams, Week 4
Here are our consensus Week 4 defense/special teams rankings.
Once again, the staff has ranked the Seattle Seahawks as the leading defense for the week. The Seahawks have been our consensus No. 1 for every week but Week 2, when they faced the Green Bay Packers. This week, they’ll be facing a Detroit Lions offense that continues to struggle finding its identity. The Lions allow the 10th most fantasy points to opposing defenses. They’ll be trying to turn things around, but it will be an uphill battle for the Lions on the road. Seattle owners should continue to benefit from its defense in Week 4.
There are a lot of familiar teams in the top five this week. The Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and Buffalo Bills were our top defenses in Week 3, just as they are this week. The Jets didn’t even crack the top 20 in Week 3, but they’re poised to bounce back against a shaky Miami Dolphins offense.
