Steelers coach Mike Munchak penalized for yanking Bengals player’s hair

SB Nation 2016 NFL Playoff Guide

Officials worried that Saturday’s playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals would get chippy because of the long history between the two teams and specifically several incidents this season.

Before Saturday’s game, referees lined up at midfield to keep the players apart while they stretched. Turns out, they should have been keeping an eye on the coaches.

During the first quarter of the game, Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak drew a 15-yard penalty for getting into a tussle with Bengals safety Reggie Nelson on the sideline.

Another angle of the altercation showed Munchak grabbing Nelson’s hair.

Nelson obviously didn’t take too kindly to Munchak. Things are getting heated with most of the game still to play.
