The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have ruled out Doug Martin for their Week 8 matchup with the Oakland Raiders.

Martin continues to battle a hamstring injury he suffered back in Week 2. Including this Sunday, the injury will have cost Martin five games with no clear return date in sight. That is because Martin, just as he was getting set to return, suffered a setback in Week 7.
He has failed to practice since Week 2, so do not hesitate to cut Martin from your fantasy team if there are better options on the waiver wire.
Fantasy Impact: As long as Martin is out and Charles Sims is on I.R., Jacquizz Rodgers should continue to put up RB1 production in Tampa Bay’s offense. He has done so well that, even when Martin returns, it may be more of a timeshare with Rodgers instead of Martin simply getting back the bulk of the touches.
That is even more reason to seriously consider dropping Martin from your fantasy team(s).
