The Kansas City Chiefs will be without Jamaal Charles vs. the Indianapolis Colts. Head coach Andy Reid said Friday that Charles was ruled out for Week 8 due to swelling in his surgically repaired knee, according to Chiefs.com reporter BJ Kissel.
Jamaal Charles injury update: Chiefs RB out vs. Colts
The Chiefs continue to wait for Jamaal Charles to be fully healthy before playing him more.

Charles appeared to be close to 100 percent healthy last week, but suffered a setback on Friday due to swelling in his knee. He ended up playing in Week 7, though only carried the ball once for no gain.
The ninth-year back has suffered multiple setbacks since tearing his ACL in 2015, which has led to him missing four games this season if you include Week 8. In three games this season, Charles has 12 rushes for 40 yards and one score.
Fantasy Impact: As long as Charles is out, expect a heavy workload for backup Spencer Ware, who continues to be a star for Kansas City. Ware is nearing 800 all-purpose yards with only six games under his belt this season.
