Week 11 of the 2016 NFL regular season is just about coming to a close with only the Monday Night Football game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.
We’ll rank out a few D/ST streaming options to get you ready for Week 12. Throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change (via Yahoo!) and news arrives.
Waiver wire D/ST rankings, Week 12
1. New York Giants (46 percent owned)
The Giants improved their defense considerably in the offseason, and it’s shown thus far this year. In addition, they are gifted with playing the Browns struggling offense next week, making them a premier D/ST option in Week 12.
2. Cincinnati Bengals (27 percent owned)
The Bengals will play the Ravens, a team that has failed to produce more than 30 points or three touchdowns this season. Cincinnati should be a fairly safe play as a result.
3. San Diego Chargers (18 percent owned)
The Chargers will face a Houston offense that has struggled all season long. Joey Bosa and San Diego’s front seven should have a good time against Brock Osweiler.
4. Detroit Lions (17 percent owned)
The Lions D/ST scored two touchdowns and secured two interceptions in their win against Jacksonville in Week 11. Look for the unit to build upon this performance in Week 12 when they play Sam Bradford and the largely ineffective Minnesota offense.
5. Tennessee Titans (15 percent owned)
The Titans defense held strong against Green Bay and Indianapolis the past two weeks. These two teams possess offenses much stronger than Chicago who the Titans play in Week 12.
