The 14th week of the 2016 regular season is just about coming to a close, with only the Monday Night Football game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.

We will be ranking the top players likely to be available in your league at each of the major positions. Some weeks there might not be many good options available, but we’ll scour for the best we can find. Additionally, throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change (via Yahoo!) and news arrives.
Waiver wire quarterback rankings, Week 15
1. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers (36 percent owned)
Kaepernick has hit a bit of a cold streak since a standout performance against Miami in Week 12. The San Francisco quarterback passed for 133 yards and a touchdown while also adding 23 yards on the ground in the 49ers’ loss to the Jets. Kaepernick will be forced into action next week competing against a strong Atlanta offense that will surely provide a good game script for Kaepernick’s fantasy value.
2. Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs (27 percent owned)
The Chiefs were able to unseat the Raiders from the top of the AFC West, and Smith was a significant contributor to that achievement. The Kansas City quarterback passed for 264 yards and a touchdown, but also added an interception and a fumble in his team’s win over the Raiders. Smith will look to help Kansas City maintain its division lead against a beatable Titans defense next week.
3. Sam Bradford, Minnesota Vikings (11 percent owned)
Bradford continued his steady performance from last week, and avoided turning the ball over. The Minnesota quarterback passed for 292 yards and a touchdown, and added 17 yards on the ground in the Vikings’ victory over the Jaguars. Bradford will look to take advantage of a weak Indianapolis defense in Week 15.
4. Trevor Siemian, Denver Broncos (10 percent owned)
Despite Siemian’s generally poor performance for most of Week 14, he still has an excellent supporting cast around him, and some of his rust can be attributed to a return from injury. The Denver quarterback passed for 334 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ loss to the Titans. Siemian posted a season-high 51 pass attempts, but struggled for most of the game until the fourth quarter. He’ll look to be more efficient next week when the Patriots visit Denver.
5. Matt Barkley, Chicago Bears (three percent owned)
The Chicago backup quarterback has performed decently given the circumstances surrounding him. Barkley passed for 212 yards and a touchdown in Chicago’s loss to Detroit. Barkley is doing the best he can, but there has been a notable lack of weapons that surround him on offense. Alshon Jeffery will return in Week 15 against a beatable Packers defense, which gives Barkley both an elite pass-catching option and a good matchup for next week.
