Ever since getting named the Chicago Bears’ starting quarterback in Week 12, Matt Barkley has done the best he can with what his team has to offer him. Considering an NFL-high 10.5 percent of his pass attempts have been dropped, his numbers could be even more impressive with proper support.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: Who is this Matt Barkley guy?
Chicago’s quarterback will be looking for another big passing day against Washington on Saturday.

In his last four games with the Bears, Barkley is completing 60.5 percent of his passes for a total of 1,082 yards (271 per game), six touchdowns, and five interceptions.
Fantasy Impact: This week, Chicago and its quarterback will be facing Washington and a defense that has not been great against the pass lately.
Washington is giving up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks in 2016. The team’s defense has allowed five players from the position group to throw for 300 yards or more in the team’s last six games.
Barkley has already thrown for at least 300 yards in two of the last four weeks. Based on his matchup Saturday, the chances of him likely doing that again could be enough for some fantasy owners to start the young quarterback this week.
