The 13th week of the 2016 regular season is just about coming to a close with only the Monday Night Football game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.

Additionally, throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change (via Yahoo!) and news arrives.
Waiver wire quarterback rankings, Week 14
1. Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers (50 percent owned)
Kaepernick had his worst performance of the year in Chicago. However, a large portion of that performance can be attributed to the inclement weather. The San Francisco quarterback only managed to pass for four yards, and added 20 yards rushing in the 49ers’ loss to the Bears. Despite this poor showing, Kaepernick will have a very good chance at returning to form against a poor Jets defense in a more temperate Bay Area setting next week.
2. Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles (32 percent owned)
The Eagles started the season undefeated prior to their bye, and a key factor in those wins was Wentz’s strong quarterback play. The rookie has looked shaky in recent weeks, but hasn’t been helped much by his receivers who have been greatly impacted by injury. Wentz passed for 308 yards, a touchdown, and three interceptions in Philadelphia’s loss to Cincinnati. He will try to bounce back next week against Washington.
3. Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs (27 percent owned)
Smith managed a very efficient performance against the Falcons in Week 13. The Chiefs quarterback passed for 270 yards and a touchdown in Kansas City’s win over Atlanta. Smith will face the high-scoring Raiders next week, which could produce a favorable game script leading to increased pass attempts and production.
4. Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens (23 percent owned)
The Ravens had a great game against the Dolphins in week 13, due in large part to Flacco’s excellent performance. The Baltimore quarterback passed for 381 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the Ravens’ win over the Dolphins. Flacco will look to build upon this performance next week against the Patriots.
5. Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams (four percent owned)
The rookie quarterback has performed inconsistently in his time as starter for the Rams, but he’s shown some flashes of talent. Goff passed for 161 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions in the Rams’ loss to the Patriots. Los Angeles will face Atlanta’s beatable secondary next week, which should be a good opportunity for Goff to have a productive outing.
