The 13th week of the 2016 regular season is just about coming to a close with only the Monday Night Football game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.

We will be ranking the top five or more players likely to be available in your league at each of the major positions. Some weeks there might not be five good options available, but we’ll scour for the best we can find. Additionally, throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change (via Yahoo!) and news arrives.
Waiver wire tight end rankings, Week 14
1. C.J. Fiedorowicz, Houston Texans (40 percent owned)
Fiedorowicz has been Brock Osweiler’s favorite target, and the only one that he’s been able to connect with somewhat consistently. The third-year tight end caught six passes for 44 yards in Houston’s loss to Green Bay. Ryan Griffin was able to take some targets and receptions when Fiedorowicz took a break, including a touchdown. However, Fiedorowicz still appears to be the preferred tight end on the Texans, and he’ll have an excellent matchup against the Colts next week.
2. Vernon Davis, Washington (37 percent owned)
Jordan Reed hasn’t practiced since injuring his shoulder on Thanksgiving. Davis has taken Reed’s place in the high-powered Washington offense. Davis caught five passes for 47 yards in Washington’s loss to Arizona. The Cardinals boast one of the league’s best defenses against the tight end, which was a large contributor to Davis’s struggles. If Reed misses Week 14, Davis will have a starting role against Philadelphia.
3. Dennis Pitta, Baltimore Ravens (33 percent owned)
Pitta played an integral role in Baltimore’s excellent offensive performance this past week. He caught nine passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens’ win over the Dolphins. Pitta has had the talent and potential to post performances like this all season, but had yet to see the opportunity. Look for Pitta to have another productive outing against the Patriots next week.
4. Ladarius Green, Pittsburgh Steelers (22 percent owned)
While the Steelers used both Green and Jesse James as pass catchers, it appears as if Green has taken over as Pittsburgh’s lead tight end. Green caught six passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Steelers’ win over the Giants. Green’s snap count and involvement on offense should only go up from here.
5. Jermaine Gresham, Arizona Cardinals (three percent owned)
In the past three weeks, Gresham has posted steady production. The Arizona tight end caught five passes for 52 yards in Arizona’s win over Washington. Gresham will have a good opportunity to put up stats next week as he faces a Miami defense that gave up two touchdowns to tight ends in Week 13.
