Although he did not participate in the team’s practice on Wednesday, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz seems to be making a good impression on his new head coach Ben, McAdoo. The Giants’ head coach said Cruz “looked pretty good” while he worked out on the sideline once again as the rest of his team practiced.
Victor Cruz looking good despite not practicing, fantasy value low heading into season
Injuries continue to hold the Giants’ receiver back, but he could be closer to returning to the field. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cruz’s most recent setback is a groin injury and it has caused him to miss a few of New York’s practices this summer. He did not play in the Giants’ preseason opener last Friday against the Miami Dolphins and he likely will not play in the team’s next game against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
Fantasy impact: For 2016, his ADP is towards the bottom and this does not come as a surprise given his recent injury history. He missed the entire 2015 season with a calf injury and he only played in six games in 2014.
Heading into this season, fantasy owners should not feel tempted to select Cruz until the last round or two of their draft, if at all.
