Pittsburgh Steeler RB Le’Veon Bell’s suspension was reduced to three games Friday, following an appeal to the NFL. Bell was originally suspended four games for missed drug tests, a violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. Additionally, as part of Bell’s appeal settlement, he will remain in Stage 2 of the NFL’s substance abuse program, according to NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo. This means any future violations of the policy will only result in another four-game suspension.
Le’Veon Bell suspension reduced, major effects for fantasy football
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell suspension reduced to three games. We look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Spin:
Bell’s fantasy stock and the Steelers’ season just got a big boost. The starting RB could return as early as Week 4 for the Sunday night meeting against Kansas City. Look for Bell to come off fantasy boards higher than expected now that he is only going to miss three games. He should go late first round in most leagues but, for certain early in the second round. Bell is a clear RB1 option if he stays healthy and out of trouble for the rest of the season.
