Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper sat out the team’s practice on Tuesday, according to the Bay Area News Group’s Jimmy Durkin. No one is sure as to why Cooper did not participate on Tuesday, but it does not seem to be anything serious.
Amari Cooper sits out practice Tuesday, no impact on fantasy value
The young Raiders receiver might just be getting a little extra rest before the start of the regular season, we explore the fantasy implications.

The Raiders should expect to have their top receiver when they open the regular season against the New Orleans Saints.
Fantasy impact: For 2016, Cooper will be looking to improve upon an impressive rookie season. Fantasy owners are not seeing any sort of sophomore slump in the young receiver’s second NFL season as his current ADP has him toward the end of the second round.
It would not come as a surprise if Cooper overtakes fellow Oakland wide receiver Michael Crabtree as the most targeted player in the team’s offense in 2016. He developed a nice relationship with Raiders quarterback Derek Carr last season as the duo was able to connect for six touchdowns.
Oakland is expecting big things from Cooper and Carr again this year and that could bode well for their fantasy owners in 2016.
