The team’s leading pass catcher from a year ago is trying to help this season’s Bucs squad get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2007. If that has any chance of becoming a reality, Tampa Bay will need to beat some of the best teams in the league and that begins this Sunday in Arizona when the Bucs take on the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact: In his first-ever matchup with the Cardinals, Evans will be facing off against a defense that allowed its opposing receivers to only catch 54 percent of their targets in 2015.
In each their games against Arizona last season, top NFL wide receivers Calvin Johnson, A.J. Green, and Brandin Cooks combined to average only 6.6 points in standard leagues. However, Yahoo! projects Evans to still have a decent day against the Cardinals with five catches for 77 yards.
