Fantasy Impact: After rushing for a personal best 863 yards last year, Jennings will be looking to rush for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career when he takes the field for the Giants in 2016. The release of Williams will certainly help increase his chances at being able to do so.
A higher number of carries around the goal line could possibly turn Jennings into a top fantasy running back this season. He finished with only four touchdowns last season, but an increase in touches could possibly lead to Jennings’ touchdown total reaching double-digit value.
2016 could be the last year for Jennings to attempt at becoming one of the top running backs in the NFL. At 31, time is running out for the New York running back to significantly contribute to the team.
