The Falcons’ receiver is coming off a career year in which he caught 136 passes for 1,871 yards and eight touchdowns. His health is an extremely important part of Atlanta’s shot at success in 2016.
Fantasy Impact: Jones’ injury does not seem to be too concerning yet, as it sounds like the team is just taking precautions with the guy who is arguably the best player on the entire Falcons roster.
Atlanta will be facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, a team that Jones has had plenty of success going against. In the past four games against the Bucs, Jones has averaged nine catches, 134 yards and just under one touchdown.
There is no reason to think that he cannot continue his success against Tampa Bay this weekend.
