Golovkin vs. Jacobs undercard: Full list of fights

Daniel Jacobs will take on Gennady Golovkin in the main event of a packed HBO Boxing card from Madison Square Garden on Saturday.

Head over to our Golovkin-Jacobs live blog for updates on each fight.

Gennady “GGG” Golovkin will defend multiple titles and his unbeaten record on the grand stage of Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday. “Triple G” will face Danny Jacobs in a middleweight contest that will see all of the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, and IBO middleweight titles on the line.

The fight will be the main event of an action-packed HBO Boxing card that will also feature a match between Roman Gonzalez and Wisaksil Wangek. Gonzalez is the WBC world super flyweight champion and is considered by many to be the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Saturday’s pay-per-view card will begin at 9 p.m. ET, though the night will feature a full slate of fights beyond the main event and the showcase undercard fight between Wangek and “Chocolatito.”

Carlos Cuadras, the man who gave Gonzalez the WBC super flyweight title in his last outing, will get a tune-up fight against Daniel Carmona over 10 rounds. Cuadras is heavily favored and has more ways to win than Cuadras does, and is essentially guaranteed a rematch with Gonzalezz if he survives Carmona.

Two 17-win lightweight prospects will also meet in a hotly anticipated matchup on the undercard. Ryan Martin (17-0, 10 knockouts) will face Bryant Cruz (17-1, eight knockouts), with the former being heavily favored. This is being billed as a showcase fight for Martin, which also means things will go poorly for him if he doesn’t come out the other end with a win.

Andy Lee will also be in action on the card. Lee hasn’t fought since a December 2015 loss to Billy Joe Saunders, and hasn’t won since December 2014, when he stopped Matt Korobov to win the WBO middleweight title. At 34-4-1 with 24 knockouts, Lee will take on KeAndrae Leatherwood (19-3-1, 12 knockouts) in a match that should set him up nicely for a title fight with Golovkin provided both fighters make it through the evening victorious.

Below is all you need to know to watch the event.
