After heavy rains and the threat of a tornado ended Tuesday’s slate early, Wednesday now has three Little League World Series games scheduled.

A game postponed from Tuesday and two double elimination games are set for Wednesday.

An elimination game matchup between the Mid-Atlantic (New Jersey) and New England (Connecticut) teams, and two double elimination games between Canada and Japan and the Southwest (Texas) vs. Southeast (North Carolina) teams, respectively.
The rescheduled game will kick things off first at 11 a.m. ET, with New Jersey and Connecticut facing off. The New England representative beat New Jersey once already, with a 7-6 win in the opening round. However, Connecticut lost to Texas just a few days later and now finds themselves headed for a rematch. New Jersey beat both Michigan and California to remain in the competition.
Next up is Canada vs. Japan at 3 p.m ET, featuring a game between two of the most dominant teams so far. Canada won their opening round, 12-2, over Europe-Africa, and followed it with a 7-3 win over Latin America in a double elimination game. Japan, meanwhile, beat Australia, 8-0, in their opening round game Friday and Asia-Pacific, 4-1, to put them into a matchup with Canada.
Finally, as long as no more tornadoes try to come through the region unexpectedly, will be Texas vs. North Carolina at 7:30 p.m. ET. In addition to its win over Connecticut, Texas also beat the Great Lakes (Michigan) team, 5-1. North Carolina has thrown a combined perfect game and a no-hitter so far, beating Midwest (South Dakota), 6-0, before absolutely walloping the West (California) team, 16-0.
