Watch the Mayweather-McGregor post-fight press conference

Floyd Mayweather Jr. maintained his perfect boxing record with a technical knockout of Conor McGregor on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Now comes the post-fight press conference at T-Mobile Arena to wrap up an exciting night.

Mayweather rode the storm early from McGregor before landing a flurry of punches in the 10th round to force the referee to step in. McGregor never hit the floor during the match, but he was stumbling and looked gassed as the match was called.

McGregor deserves credit for coming out aggressively in the first few rounds, where he looked comfortable and confident taking on a more experienced foe. However, Mayweather showed the value of all those extra reps with a perfectly executed strategy that saw him take over the fight in the final several rounds.

Mayweather already said after the fight that it was his “last fight, for sure,” so the 40-year-old could hang up the gloves with a sterling 50-0 record. He’s already retired twice before only to return, so it’s not a sure thing. But given his age and the massive payout he’ll receive from this bout, it wouldn’t be surprising if this is the end.
