Wisconsin vs. North Dakota final score: Frank Kaminsky sets Wisconsin record in win, 103-85

The junior center now owns the school-record with 43 points in a game.

A record-setting night from Wisconsin Badgers center Frank Kaminsky offset an otherwise uncharacteristic defensive effort from the Badgers, as Bo Ryan's team beat the North Dakota State Bison 103-85 on Tuesday.

Kaminsky scored 43 points, going 16-of-19 from the field and draining all six of his three-point attempts, to lead the Badgers. He beat the original record of 42 set by Ken Barnes in 1965 and tied by Michael Finley in 1994.

Lost in the ruckus of Kaminsky’s career night was Wisconsin having to change its game plan to keep up with North Dakota. One week after beating Florida 59-53, the Badgers had to sprint to stay ahead of the Bison.

Senior Bison guard Troy Huff also had a career-high in the game, scoring 37 points as he forced the Badgers to play a more up-tempo game. The Badgers responded, with Kaminsky as the unlikely hero. Kaminsky just became a starter this year and his previous career-high was 19 points. Sam Dekker added 19 points to assist in the win.
