Askia Booker's three-pointer with 4:14 remaining in the first half kickstarted a 15-2 run that spanned seven minutes across both halves. By the time Arizona's Mark Lyons hit a three-pointer with 16:58 left in the game, the Buffaloes held a 38-26 advantage. The Wildcats never got closer than nine points the rest of the way en route to their fourth loss, a number that could have been larger.
Colorado (17-7, 7-5 Pac-12) nearly beat Arizona on the road earlier this season, but a questionable call from the officials at the end of regulation disallowed what would have been a game-winning shot, and the Buffaloes went on to lose in overtime.
Solomon Hill scored 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Wildcats (20-4, 8-4 Pac-12) in the losing effort.
