5-star CB Alexander picks Clemson

ESPNUOne thing nobody is questioning about Mackensie Alexander is his football ability: he’s easily one of the top 10 corners in his class, with tremendous covering ability, and that’s what got the 5’11 Alexander 22 offers from programs across the nation. On National Signing Day he decided to spend his next four years playing for Dabo Swinney at Clemson.
ESPN gives the defensive back five stars, ranking him behind only Florida commit Vernon Hargreaves III amongst cornerbacks. Other services still give him elite rankings, with Rivals and Scout each calling him the No. 7 player at his position.

Look for Alexander to hit the camp and visit circuit this summer.
↵The 5’11, 175 pound Alexander is widely regarded as one of the top five cornerbacks in the country. He combines good speed with excellent toughness and competitiveness, harassing defensive backs into poor routes and mistakes.
