Matthew Thomas is one of the top linebacker recruits in the Southeast. Out of Miami (Fla.) Booker T., the five-star holds more than 30 offers. Of those, Alabama, Florida State and Miami stand out, in an order that seems to change quite frequently.

And so far in 2012, he has picked up right where he left off during his stellar 2011 season, as seen in this new highlight video from our friends at Elite Scouting Services:
That’s not some scrub team Thomas is facing, either. It’s Miami Northwestern, a former national champion and home to many of the best athletes in the country
And Thomas is just toying with the Miami NW Bulls. They are fast, but Thomas is so fast and quick, that he makes their blockers look downright foolish. He’s obliterating their angles in a few of these.
And while it’s true that MNW did not always have its act together in this game, it would have been much easier to do so had the Bulls not been facing Thomas.
