Isaac Remington arrested: Oregon starter suspended after reported DUI

Oregon Ducks DT Isaac Remington was taken into custody after receiving a DUI at a traffic stop around 12:30 a.m. near the main campus, according Jack Moran of the Register-Guard.

Moran elaborated that Remington was not jailed but this seems to be the reason for the suspension that was announced earlier in the day.

No. 2 Oregon is in the midst of a bye week currently but will be taking on the Arizona State Sun Devils in a key Pac-12 road game next Thursday without the services of Remington.

The senior defensive tackle has 12 tackles on the year with four of those being for a loss. He has also chipped in a sack and two quarterback hurries.

Jared Ebert would've been next to step up in Remington's place, but he hurt his knee earlier in the year. Next up is four-star freshman Arik Armstead, who's seen time in all six games this year.
