Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY SportsBefore Golson was suspended for the 2013 season, the Fighting Irish were looking at 28/1 odds to win the 2013 BCS Championship, according to Oddsshark. A mystery SEC school (which is probably Mississippi State) is said to be pursuing him as a transfer, but that won’t happen if he’s serious about trying to suit up for the Irish in 2014.
