Euless, Texas community remembers 3 killed in car accident

The community is coming together to mourn and remember the three, including two college football players, who died on Tuesday.

Under 24 hours after the death of three in a Tuesday morning car accident, the Euless (Texas) community rallied to hold a memorial service at Trinity High School’s football practice facility.

Texas A&M redshirt freshman Polo Manukainiu, incoming Utah freshman Gaius Vaenuku, and 13-year-old Andrew Uhatafe were killed in a one car accident in New Mexico early Tuesday morning, with two other passengers, Utah freshman Salesi Uhatafe and his father, Salesi Uhatafe Sr., surviving.

The impromptu memorial service is the first of several, with more coming on Wednesday evening:

The team is selling t-shirts to honor the three deceased players, with all proceeds going to support the family.
