WWE announcer Jim Ross calls Oklahoma’s first half against Alabama

The legendary announcer is on the Oklahoma sidelines for tonight’s Sugar Bowl.

The Oklahoma Sooners, who have come through hell fire and brimstone to be at Thursday night's Sugar Bowl, have incredibly gone up 31-17 on the Big Red Machine Alabama at halftime. After this summer's war of words, most thought that Nick Saban wasn't just out to hurt Bob Stoops in this game -- he was out to end his career! But the Sooners had other thoughts, and the Crimson Tide are being whipped like a government mule!

It only took Alabama two minutes to score the game's first touchdown, but Oklahoma's offense took the field, and business was about to pick up. The Sooners scored on a 45-yard touchdown pass set up by A.J. McCarron's first interception of the night. The teams exchanged lefts and rights throughout. What a slobberknocker!

Oklahoma’s hurry-up offense and pass-heavy attack have been stompin’ a mudhole in Alabama. Trevor Knight already has 206 yards passing and three touchdowns. Bah Gawd, King! Oklahoma’s receivers have accepted more passes on Thursday night than dear old Mrs. Lawler!

Knight hit Saunders with a POWER BOMB FROM THE GATES OF HELL to give the Sooners a 24-17 lead!

When Oklahoma defensive back Zack Sanchez picked of A.J. McCarron late in the first half, these jezebels couldn't believe what they were seeing, and neither could we, King!

Sterling Shepard’s 13-yard run gave the Sooners a two-touchdown lead at the break. Can the Big Red Machine come back? Can the underdog Sooners hold on? Does anyone want some BBQ sauce? We’ll answer them all when the Sugar Bowl returns!
