Do you know those “Rube Goldberg machines”? The unnecessarily elaborate contraptions with several sequential moving parts, all just to ultimately accomplish one insignificant task? This play is the football version of that.

I mean, if you wanted to get your quarterback killed and have him cough up the ball, there really wasn’t any need to involve all the receivers and laterals and what have you. But then again, that’s what makes it art.

Anyway, Syracuse is currently losing late in the third quarter to NC State, who is currently winless in ACC play. Not a great afternoon up there, is what we’re saying.
