Multiple outlets have reported in recent days that the Michigan Wolverines chances' to land Jim Harbaugh have improved. Last week, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that while Harbaugh likes the NFL, his family has been "encouraging" him to take the Michigan job.

An ESPN report had said that family pressure could push Harbaugh to Ann Arbor.

However, Harbaugh's brother John, the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, responded to that report and denied it outright.

According to one report, the school upped its offer to Harbaugh last week, and is prepared to make him the highest-paid coach in college football with an annual salary of $8 million.
Harbaugh's season with the San Francisco 49ers ends on Sunday, and his tenure with that team is expected to end as well. With the end of the season fast approaching, we could learn soon where Harbaugh will end up.
