Stanford players celebrate Rose Bowl win with ‘We want Bama!’ chants and a proposal

There’s a lot to unpack here.

The scene on a football field after a bowl win is always crazy. There was a lot going on here for Stanford after they won the Rose Bowl 45-16 over Iowa.

So we have:

1. Guard Josh Garnett getting fired up and shouting “WE WANT BAMA” a bunch of times, a proud tradition enjoyed by teams across the country, over and over again. Now, there’s no way for these two teams to actually play this season, but that’s never stopped anyone from doing some good, consequence-free jawing.

2. Fellow guard Brendon Austin proposing to his girlfriend. You can't see the actual proposal on the video, but she said yes, and that's great! Love is wonderful!
