The ACC has spoken on Wakeyleaks. The conference announced earlier this week that it would investigate on its own what happened between former Wake assistant coach Tommy Elrod and the football staffs at Louisville, Army, and Virginia Tech, to whom he leaked game plan information. That investigation has come to a conclusion.
ACC fines Louisville and Virginia Tech $25,000 each in connection to Wake Forest fiasco
The conference will have no further comment.

Besides the fines (which the ACC says are the highest they’re allowed to dish out), the conference will not levy further discipline on Louisville. In the statement the conference says it is “fully supportive” of the Cardinals suspending assistant coach Lonnie Galloway for the Citrus Bowl, which the school announced Friday.
“I am deeply disturbed something like this would occur, and regardless of the degree of involvement, the protection of the competitive integrity of our games is fundamental to any athletic contest,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “Sportsmanship and ethical values are at the core of competitive integrity and in these instances, those were missing. The expectation, regardless of the sport, is that any athletics department staff members would immediately communicate with their supervisor if they are approached by someone from another institution with proprietary information.”
The conference announced that they didn’t find any additional teams beyond the three already reported.
On Saturday, Army announced that it was very seriously looking into the situation on its own.
