The Alabama Crimson Tide are 25-0 straight up and 16-9 against the spread over the course of the longest winning streak in the nation. The Crimson Tide are two wins away from a second consecutive national championship, and they’ll try to earn the first on New Year’s Eve against the Washington Huskies in the Peach Bowl.
New Year’s bowl opening odds: Bama, Wisconsin, USC among big favorites
The Crimson Tide are chalk against Washington while the Buckeyes are giving points to Clemson in the Peach Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl playoff semifinal matchups.

Alabama is a 16.5-point favorite over the Huskies on the Peach Bowl odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. This line may seem disrespectful to the Huskies who had a fantastic season at 12-1 SU and 7-6 ATS, but Alabama is simply playing at another level right now. The Crimson Tide have won each of their last 10 games by double digits and are 7-2 SU in their last nine postseason games.
On the Fiesta Bowl odds, the Ohio State Buckeyes are listed as a 3-point favorite squaring off against the Clemson Tigers. Ohio State was the only non-champion team to advance into the playoff, and earned the No. 3 seed by virtue of an outstanding resume that includes wins over Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Clemson is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five games against Big Ten opponents.

Two of the best young quarterbacks in the nation will be on display in USC’s freshman star Sam Darnold and Penn State’s sophomore gunslinger Trace McSorley. USC has gone 7-1 SU and ATS in its last eight games played in the month of January.
Rounding out this year’s top six bowl game odds are Michigan (-7) vs. Florida State in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30, Auburn vs. Oklahoma (-4.5) in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, and Western Michigan vs. Wisconsin (-7.5) in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2.
Michigan is just 3-7 in its last 10 bowl game appearances. It will be interesting to see how motivated the Wolverines are for this game after taking such a disheartening loss to Ohio State in the final game of their regular season.
