Updated college football rankings after Conference Championship Weekend

A collection of the big top 25s, including the Playoff committee’s.

The College Football Playoff committee’s final top 25 before the postseason is out. It includes a top four and Playoff field of Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Alabama.

After a Conference Championship Weekend that saw all of those teams assure themselves of Playoff spots and Ohio State beat Wisconsin to set up a debate over No. 4 that Bama eventually won, we’re seeing significant rankings shuffles in all the top 25s. The most important of those, of course, is the Playoff committee’s.

We’ll add each one to this post as it’s released, and we’ll update some composite rankings as more information pours in. The rankings featured here:

The College Football Playoff rankings

The only rankings that actually matter, in terms of setting up the postseason. This is the list that makes up the Playoff field and determines a lot of who goes where. For instance, Washington’s destined for the New Year’s Six because it got above TCU.
