The first of eight stages in the Tour of California begins Sunday, with bikers travelling 115.9 miles in Santa Rosa. The race begins at 7:50 a.m. Pacific time, and will be featured both in a live stream here and on the NBC Sports Network.

The biggest bike race in America kicks off.
The race is the biggest in the United States, and has been since its inception in 2006. Today’s first stage will start and end in pretty much the same place, as bikers face an elevation gain of 9,901 feet but return to the start line in Santa Rosa.
