Noah Fant start or sit: Week 2 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Noah Fant ahead of the Bengals’ Week 2 matchup against the Jaguars.

The Bengals knocked off the Browns 17-16 in their season opener last Sunday and did so despite being held to just seven yards of offense in the second half. Veteran tight end Noah Fant contributed to the winning effort in his debut with the organization and he’ll try to do the same against Jacksonville this week.
Below, we’ll go over Fant’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 2.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals TE Noah Fant
Fant hauled in four of his five targets for 26 yards and a touchdown against Cleveland last Sunday, finishing the week as No. 4 TE in standard leagues with 8.6 fantasy points and No. 9 in PPR leagues with 12.6 points. The veteran actually got the same number of targets as Ja’Marr Chase in the opener, which is indicator of how disjointed and ineffective the Cincinnati offense was throughout the afternoon. We’ll see if he can have another productive outing against a Jacksonville defense that was vulnerable against tight end performers last year.
Start or sit in Week 2 PPR leagues?
Sit. Cincinnati’s offense should be able to clean things up and collectively deliver a better effort in Week 2, meaning Fant most likely will not lead the team in receptions again. The four receptions for 26 yards is in line with what he usually produced in Seattle over the past few seasons and unless he scores, he’s not much of a fantasy asset that you’re tripping over yourself to start.
Start or sit in Week 2 standard leagues?
Sit.
