Trey Benson start or sit: Week 2 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Trey Benson ahead of the Cardinals’ Week 2 matchup against the Panthers.

The Cardinals got their season started on the a positive note last Sunday with a 20-13 road victory over the Saints. Running back Trey Benson played a big role in the win and could be setting up for a breakout year in his second season with the organization.
Below, we’ll go over Benson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 2.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals RB Trey Benson
Benson was identified as one of the top handcuff options heading into the season and he exceeded expectations in the team’s 20-13 victory over the Saints last week. The second-year back actually out-rushed starter James Conner in the opener and showed off his explosiveness, taking eight carries for 68 yards on the ground. He was notably on the field for 33% of Arizona’s offensive snaps last week, so that is a good indicator that he’ll get plenty of work as the season unfolds.
Start or sit in Week 2 standard leagues?
Start. The Panthers got ran over by Travis Etienne Jr.for 143 rushing yards last Sunday and will now have to face the running back tandem of Conner/Benson this week. Benson was a top-30 fantasy back in Week 1 and I think he can duplicate that against the Panthers on Sunday, giving the green light for fantasy managers to sneak him into a FLEX spot.
