The Pittsburgh Steelers are 2-1, but haven’t looked great offensively except for the points explosion in Week 1 against the Jets. Over the last two weeks they’re averaging just 235 total yards per game, while Aaron Rodgers has averaged 171 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception during that time. Now they face a Vikings defense that just eviscerated Jake Browning and the Bengals.
Calvin Austin start or sit: Week 4 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Calvin Austin ahead of Week 4

One bright spot in the Steelers passing game so far has been Calvin Austin, who has caught 8-of-15 targets for 126 yards and two touchdowns. He’s very close in production to WR1, DK Metcalf so far. The question is, can he keep up the touchdown production, as that is what has elevated his fantasy start.
Below, we’ll go over Calvin Austin’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 4.
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers, WR, Calvin Austin
Austin is the team’s deep threat, giving him a low floor and a high ceiling. Unfortunately, the Steelers targets are spread out too thin for consistent production. They have six players with 10 or more targets and none over 17 total targets on the season, as Metcalf currently averages just 5.7 targets per game.
The Vikings defense under Brian Flores has given up the fewest fantasy points to the wide receiver position this season. We also know that Flores brings it each week and the chances of the Steelers offense getting stomped into the Dublin dirt Sunday morning is fairly good.
Start or sit in Week 4 PPR leagues?
Sit. Austin doesn’t see enough work to feel safe starting, as he needs a touchdown to be useful. He’s better in standard leagues, but still too risky.
Start or sit in Week 4 standard leagues?
