The 2-2 Minnesota Vikings stay in the UK for a second straight week to battle the Cleveland Browns in London as 3.5-point favorites. Both teams will have different quarterbacks than their Week 1 starters, as Carson Wentz will start for the injured JJ McCarthy and Dillon Gabriel will start for the old Joe Flacco.
T.J. Hockenson start or sit: Week 5 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of T.J. Hockenson ahead of Week 5

The Vikings offense has been better with Wentz slinging the ball around, which has helped tight end TJ Hockenson step up after a slow start. In the first two weeks he caught 4-of-7 targets for 27 yards, but in the last two weeks he’s caught 9-of-11 targets for 88 yards and a touchdown. He’s seen four red zone targets, which gives him the sixth-most at his position.
Below, we’ll go over T.J. Hockenson’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 5.
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings, TE, T.J. Hockenson
Hockenson’s history as a strong start should continue to inform our outlook for him, but this is a tough matchup. The Browns have little offense, but the defense continues to play well despite needing to be on the field than most defenses in the league. So far, the Browns haven’t allowed a tight end to top 39 receiving yards and they’ve faced Sam LaPorta, Tucker Kraft, Mark Andrews, Mike Gesicki and Noah Fant. They have allowed two short touchdowns to Fant and John FitzPatrick.
Start or sit in Week 5 PPR leagues?
Start. I could see sitting him in this matchup, but his touchdown chances outweigh his possibly low yardage chances. The Browns will have a rookie quarterback going against Brian Flores, and that could easily shorten the field for Wentz and company this week.
Start or sit in Week 5 standard leagues?
Start.
