The San Francisco 49ers host the Jacksonville Jaguars as 3.5-point favorites this Sunday. They will get their starting quarterback Brock Purdy back from a toe injury, but their two starting wide receivers, Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings are both questionable, while their starting tight end is on the PUP list.
Ricky Pearsall injury: What status means for Week 4 vs. Jaguars
Ricky Pearsall is dealing with a knee injury for Week 4. We break down what it means for fantasy football decisions.

Ricky Pearsall injury updates
Pearsall didn’t practice on Wednesday and then was able to practice Thursday and Friday in a limited fashion due to a knee issue.
Fantasy football analysis
At this point it doesn’t look like Pearsall is at much risk of missing this game, which the team really needs. Of course, he isn’t guaranteed to play just yet. If he can’t play, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Sky Moore, and Kendrick Bourne would see bumps in snaps and targets, but no single receiver is primed to step up as a fantasy asset. Christian McCaffrey would once again be a target hog, but is likely already going to be.
The Jaguars have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers as Ja’Maar Chase and Nico Collins have both had big games against them. But, the analytics paint a different picture, as they are seventh-best in DVOA and sixth-best in EPA per pass attempt allowed.
As long as he plays, Pearsall remains a start in most leagues. He has two 100 yard receiving games and is third in total receiving yards. His lack of touchdowns are the only thing holding him back from being a Top 10 fantasy receiver at this point.
